This far-sighted vision, lead us to take the onus upon us, to contribute a percentage of the RK revenue to charity. As a result, we came out with a business model that will assure a percentage of the revenue of each RK product that will be given out to charitable causes.
Our story began in the year 1986. Being the biggest name in the wholesale market and milling for pulses and spices in the region, it was only a matter of time before we ventured out into the retail business with a brand of our own. Halal compliance was another important aspect that we wanted to focus on. Though this factor was never looked upon in the pulses and spices industry, we channelized all our efforts and focus to make this work with sufficient help from the right agencies that adhered to this goal.
Changing our processes to keep the production halal compliant to the maximum was the outcome of successfully ear-marking the right agencies. Doing this the right way has helped us at RK to stand out in the market and ensure that every customer gets a quality and halal compliant product from us.
